The YeongoTalk corporation and web platform was founded in British Columbia, Canada, by two high school friends with a vision to create a custom, secure and innovative web experience; allowing anyone to learn, instruct and be part of a global community.

The founders self-funded and worked tirelessly for years with Canadian technology developers, Digital Ink Technologies, to bring to the world a fresh approach to learning while breaking down traditional learning barriers, and most importantly, showing people that their skill and experience has value regardless of their setting. Though the obstacles of time, money, and life for two young entrepreneurs seemed endless, the founders pushed on and were able to bring to market their goal and vision of the YeongoTalk platform.

Initially, the focus of the YT platform focused on connecting language learners and instructors from around the world. But, YT felt that it was limiting the opportunities of the platform to only a small sector when there are countless people with valuable knowledge from which others could gain. Now re-positioned, YeongoTalk is the place to go if you want help, knowledge, instruction, mentorship, training, practice, tutoring, lecturing, you name it. The limit is your imagination.

YeongoTalk is truly a small company that has taken on a mammoth task of trying to connect the world in a positive and meaningful way. But we have not been alone, our developers, supporters, instructors and learners are an enormous part of the vision, and we would not be here without them.

And for the future, YT plans persistent innovation and the use of the latest technology and development methods available to make our already robust platform into everything you want, and envisions its future position as the global leader in knowledge sharing. YeongoTalk Homestay customizes culturally insightful tours for groups of 5 to 50 students in the Greater Vancouver area.

Accommodations: Living with a Canadian family enables guests to forge long-term bonds with homestay families and enjoy life on Canada’s west coast.

Classes: English classes are taught by qualified instructors dedicated to creating the best possible experience for guests.
